I consider myself relatively entrepreneurial, having set up a successful Web Design company in 2007 with a school friend, and then going on to create an Indie Games Studio called Muzzlefish in 2012, and take pride in my self-teaching nature. Most everything I learn is something I've set out to accomplish, either through trial and error or being pointed in the correct direction at certain hurdles, such as all coding languages I know (varying from Web Design languages such as HTML, CSS, PhP, AJAX and JavaScript to OOP languages such as Java, GraalScript and Developer C) or instruments I play (Guitar/Piano/Drums).
Recent Employers and Clients have all commented on my outstanding attention to detail and design ethic that ensures any end product is top quality and to the best of my ability, and I regular receive requests and hear praise from others who have seen my work.
I'm used to working solo and as part of a team, as well as managing small task forces. I have worked off my own back during my initial game development days and later pushed this to a team level where I would rely on Graphic Designers and Level Artists to further my game and allow me to focus more on the code aspect. I have also led a team through a project by creating the original designs and taking their own creative input to build successful and elegant solutions or projects, as well as ensuring deadlines are met and any issues within the team are promptly resolved. |
